Turning pain into purpose
When our founder, Jade Payne, mum of four, went in for a simple blood test at 33, she never imagined how her life would change. Fit, healthy, and a devoted CrossFitter, she was shocked to be told on Christmas Eve, 2024, that she had an extremely rare form of kidney cancer – a 17cm tumour resistant to chemotherapy and radiation, with no clear treatment path.
The diagnosis was devastating. Overnight, her world shifted from barbells and busy school runs to surgeries and scans. But in recovery, Jade began searching for answers – and found them in the hidden toxins of everyday life.
“I realised the activewear I lived in – the nylon, the polyester – is basically plastic. Once you start seeing it, you can’t unsee it.” Jade says.
Jade’s personal mission goes beyond fabric. She’s driven by the desire to help women make informed, empowering choices – to build confidence, not just in how they look, but in how they care for themselves.
Through WildBody, she’s creating a community that moves consciously, chooses better, and celebrates every body in its truest, strongest form.

Changing the standard of activewear
Inspired by her health battle and armed with this newfound knowledge, Jade set out to create WildBody – a brand that would challenge everything that was wrong with the activewear industry: Plastic fabrics, greenwashed marketing, and limited sizing.
WildBody exists to prove that premium activewear can be sustainable, low-tox, and truly inclusive – without compromise.
Every WildBody piece is:
- Crafted from GOTS-certified organic cotton and low-tox dyes
- Custom-graded from sizes 4–22 for a genuinely inclusive fit
- Squat proof, made to perform, and move with your body
- Produced with ethical partners and sustainable, compostable packaging
WildBody isn’t just what you wear – it’s what you stand for.

The WildBody promise to you
WildBody is more than clothing — it’s a commitment to care. To yourself, your body, and the world that holds you.
Every seam, fibre, and fit is designed to make you feel comfortable, capable, and connected to something bigger: a movement toward mindful strength.
Because the future of activewear isn’t plastic – it’s Wild.
